ocane originated from a conceptual exploration by the Founder during the COVID lockdowns:

Addressing the Climate crisis from a fresh perspective, starting from scratch.

After spending many days analyzing the IPCC climate reports, it was the energy chart that shifted everything. Almost all global warming occurs in one medium: Water, the area of expertise and passion for the Founder. He dedicated himself fully, established a workshop in the garage, transformed the dining area into a lab, built test rig scaffolding, and designed and constructed reactors and flow-cells using acrylic flat sheets and tubes, incorporating pipes, aquarium pumps, filters, and sensors.

In the early stages of the R&D endeavor, the decision tree comprised almost unlimited process specs and possibilities, resembling a complex root network. However, as you begin to eliminate dead-end branches - the experimental failures - you gain insights and a clearer understanding of the path forward, leading to immersion in the process. The rest, as they say, is history.
